Food Processing Factory Hand (Part Time | School Hours) O’Connor, WA | Approx. 30 hrs/week | Mon–Fri | 9am–2pm We are seeking a reliable and self-motivated Food Processing / Factory Hand to join our growing food production team in O’Connor. This is a permanent part-time role ideally suited to someone looking for stable daytime work during school hours. We are looking for someone dependable who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in doing things properly, and is comfortable working independently in a food processing environment. About the Role This is a varied hands-on position working within a food-grade production facility. Duties may include: Food processing and product handling Packing, labelling and batching of products Cleaning and sanitation of equipment and work areas Operating processing equipment and conveyors Stock movement and general factory duties Following food safety procedures and maintaining production records Working within HACCP and food safety systems About You The ideal candidate will: Be reliable and punctual Have good common sense and the ability to work independently Have strong attention to detail Be self-directed and proactive Be physically fit and comfortable lifting 15–20kg Hold a current driver’s licence and own reliable transport Have previous food preparation, food manufacturing or food-safe experience Have evidence of previous food safety training or demonstrated food handling experience Be fluent in English and able to follow procedures carefully Have no bee product or pollen allergies Highly Regarded (but not essential) Knowledge or experience working within HACCP systems Previous food manufacturing or food processing experience Forklift licence What We Offer Consistent daytime hours (9am–2pm, Monday–Friday) School-hours friendly schedule Stable long-term opportunity for the right person Supportive small-team environment Opportunity to grow with an expanding Western Australian food business Competitive hourly rate based on experience To Apply Please send your resume to apollobotanics.com along with a short response to the following questions: Tell us about any food processing, food preparation, HACCP or food-safe experience you have.
